New Journal of Physics is an online-only, open-access, peer-reviewedscientific journal covering research in all aspects of physics, as well asinterdisciplinary topics where physics forms the central theme. The journalwas established in 1998 and is a joint publication of the Institute of Physicsand the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft. It is published byIOPPublishing. The editor-in-chief is Eberhard Bodenschatz (Max Planck Institute forDynamics and Self-Organization). New Journal of Physics is part of the SCOAP initiative.
