The Journal of Environmental Psychology is directed toward individuals in a wide range of disciplines who have an interest in the study of the transactions and interrelationships between people and their sociophysical surroundings (including built and natural environments) and the relation of this field to other social and biological sciences and to the environmental professions. The journal publishes internationally contributed empirical studies, reviews of research.
An important forum for the field, the content of the journal reflects the scientific development and maturation of the study of environmental psychology. Contributions on theoretical, methodological, and practical aspects of human-environment interaction are included, along with innovative and/or interdisciplinary approaches with a psychological emphasis.
